How to Export Your Report in PPT - PowerPoint format

This export format transforms your report into a customizable slide deck. It converts your charts, sentiment graphs, and mention summaries into high-quality visual slides that you can edit. You can easily add your own commentary, rearrange the slide order, or apply your own corporate slide templates.

Method 1: Exporting from the Reports Dashboard

  1. Navigate to the Reports Dashboard
Go to the Reports section in your BrandMentions account.

  2. Find Your Report & Download it
In your list of created reports, locate the report you want to export. Depending on your needs, simply click the Download PPTX button next to the report.

Method 2: Exporting While Creating or Editing a Report

You can also export a report in PPTX - Power Point format when you are creating or editing a project. Just click on click Download PPTX to download it as an editable presentation deck.

⚠️ Important Note: While the exported presentation is 100% editable, the files are optimized for native Microsoft PowerPoint. For the best visual experience, please use the native Microsoft PowerPoint desktop application.

How to Export Your Data in Excel

You can easily export your data to Excel directly from the Mentions section in BrandMentions. Simply go to Mentions, apply any filters you need (date, source, sentiment, etc.), then use the Export option to export the visible data as an Excel (.xlsx) file. This lets you work with your mentions in detail, create custom reports, or combine them with other data sources.

An Overview of BrandMentions’ Exporting Options

BrandMentions’ reporting suite is designed to be flexible, and that includes how you export your data. Here are the main export formats you can use:

PDF (.pdf)

This is the primary and most common export format for BrandMentions reports. It generates a high-quality, professional, non-editable document that’s perfect for sharing with clients, presenting to your leadership team, or archiving for your records. The PDF format preserves all your branding, charts, and visual elements so your report looks exactly as you designed it.

Best for: Formal presentations, client deliverables, and printing.

PPT (.pptx)

This option converts your visual report into a dynamic, fully editable presentation deck. It automatically populates your key charts, sentiment graphs, and mention summaries into high-quality slides, giving you full creative control. You can easily add your own narrative, change the order of the slides, or apply your company's corporate template for a seamless, on-brand look.

Best for: Live meetings, client pitches, internal team briefings, and customizable marketing decks.

Excel (.xlsx)

For users who want to perform their own analysis or combine BrandMentions data with other data sources, the Excel export option is ideal. It exports your data into a structured Excel spreadsheet, with key data points (such as mentions, sentiment, and reach) organized so you can easily work with them. You can then create custom charts, pivot tables, filters, and calculations based on your needs.

Best for: Deep-dive data analysis, creating custom visualizations, and integrating with other business intelligence tools.

By providing PDF, PPT and Excel export options, BrandMentions ensures you’re never locked into a single way of working with your data. Whether you need a polished, presentation-ready PPPT or a flexible spreadsheet for deeper analysis, you can choose the format that best fits your needs and workflow.
