How Can I Edit or Pause Scheduled Reports?

Updated over 2 weeks ago

BrandMentions gives you full control over your automated reporting. You can edit any scheduled report at any time, and you can stop a report from being sent when it’s no longer needed. All of this is managed from the Schedule Email Reports area inside the Reports section of your account.

Where to manage your scheduled reports

1. Go to Email & Alerts in the left sidebar.

2. Hover over the Scheduled Reports you want to edit or pause.

You’ll see a list of all active scheduled email reports, along with the available actions for each one. Move your cursor over the report you want to manage to reveal options for editing or pausing it.

How to edit a scheduled report

Edit a scheduled report when you need to:

  • Add or remove recipients

  • Change the sender name or email

  • Update the email subject or message

  • Switch the frequency (weekly/monthly) or day/date

  • Change the underlying report that’s being sent

Steps to edit:

  1. Go to Emails & Alerts.

  2. Find the scheduled report you want to change in the list.

  3. Click the Edit icon (usually a pencil) in the Actions column.

  4. The Edit email report window opens, showing fields such as:

    • Report (which PDF/report template is sent)

    • Sender email and Sender name

    • Send to (recipients)

    • Email title (subject line)

    • Message (email body)

    • Send report (Weekly/Monthly + day/date)

  5. Update any of these settings as needed.

  6. Click Save to apply your changes.

From the next scheduled send onward, BrandMentions will use your updated configuration.

How to pause or stop a scheduled report

This is useful when:

  • A campaign has ended

  • A client is on hold

  • A report is no longer relevant or needed

Steps to pause/stop a scheduled report:

  1. Go to Emails & Alerts.

  2. Find the report you want to pause/stop.

  3. Click the Pause/Delete icon (trash can) in the Actions column.

After you pause it or delete it, no further emails will be sent for that scheduled report.
If you need it again later, you can easily create a new scheduled email report with the same or updated settings.
