Can I White-Label the Entire Brandmentions App Interface?

Updated over a month ago

Yes. In addition to white-labeling PDF reports, BrandMentions also offers a premium, enterprise-level option to white-label the entire BrandMentions application.

With this setup, your clients and internal teams access BrandMentions through your own domain and branding (for example, analytics.youragency.com). The platform looks and feels like your own in-house brand monitoring tool, powered by BrandMentions in the background.

What full app white-labeling means

When you fully white-label the BrandMentions app, you can:

  • Use a custom domain (subdomain or domain of your choice)

  • Apply your own branding (logo, name, and look & feel) across the interface

  • Offer your clients and teams a seamless, branded platform experience

This goes beyond report branding and is ideal for agencies and enterprises that want to present BrandMentions as their own proprietary solution.

How to request full app white-labeling

Full platform white-labeling is not enabled by default. It requires a custom setup handled by the BrandMentions team.

Follow these steps to start the process:

  1. Go to the Whitelabeling tab

    • In your BrandMentions account, open Reports in the left sidebar.

    • Click the Whitelabeling tab.

  2. Find the “White-label the Domain & Application” option

    • On the Whitelabeling page, look for the section labeled
      “White-label the Domain & Application.”

  3. Click “Request Whitelabel for domain”

    • Click the Request Whitelabel for domain button.

    • This will notify the BrandMentions team and typically start a conversation about:

      • Your custom domain (e.g., analytics.youragency.com)

      • Branding requirements

      • Any specific technical or security needs

A BrandMentions representative will then guide you through pricing, setup, and technical configuration.

4. White-label Domain & Application

If already have access to this feature, you have two options for how users access your white-labeled BrandMentions app:

  • Subdomain

    • Select Subdomain.

    • Enter the subdomain you want to use in the field provided.

    • Your app URL will look like: your-subdomain.brandmentions.com

    • Example: analytics.brandmentions.com or clients.brandmentions.com.

  • Custom domain

    • Select Domain if you prefer to use a domain or subdomain that you own (e.g., analytics.yourcompany.com).

    • Enter your domain in the field.

    • Use the “see docs for setup” link to follow the DNS and configuration steps required to point your domain to BrandMentions securely.

  • Set your company name

  • Upload your login page logos

Benefits of a fully white-labeled BrandMentions platform

1. Fully branded, in-house experience

  • Present BrandMentions as your own platform, not a third-party tool.

  • Strengthen your positioning and perceived value as a data-driven agency or in-house team.

  • Align the product interface with your brand identity.

2. Stronger client retention and loyalty

  • Clients log into your branded portal, increasing their reliance on your platform and services.

  • Reporting and monitoring become associated with your brand, not just your deliverables.

  • This helps deepen long-term relationships and reduce churn.

3. New revenue opportunities

  • Package access to the white-labeled platform as:

    • A standalone subscription, or

    • Part of a premium service tier

  • Use it as a value-add in pitches and proposals to win more business.

4. Seamless, consistent user experience

  • Internal teams and clients see one unified brand across:

    • The app interface

    • Reports

    • Emails and dashboards

  • Reduces confusion about tools and vendors everything lives under your domain.
