How Can I Change My Account Email or Password?

You can update both your account email and password directly from your BrandMentions Account Settings.

Keeping your login details updated helps protect your account and ensures that all important notifications reach the right inbox.

How to change your account email

Your account email is used for:

  • Logging in to BrandMentions

  • Receiving product and account notifications

  • Getting billing and security alerts

To change your account email:

  1. Log in to your BrandMentions account.

  2. Click your profile icon in the top right corner of the dashboard.


  3. Select Account Settings.

  4. In the My Profile section, find your current email address.



  5. Click Edit email and change or edit the email address.

  6. Click Save.

How to change your password

Regularly updating your password is an important security habit.

To change your BrandMentions password:

  1. Log in to your BrandMentions account.

  2. Go to Account Settings from your profile icon in the top right corner.


  3. Click Change password.


  4. Enter your current password to confirm your identity.

  5. Type your new password.

    • Choose a strong and unique password.

    • Use a mix of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.

  6. Enter the new password again to confirm it.

  7. Click Save.

Your password will be updated immediately. You will use the new password the next time you log in.

Password security best practices

For a more secure BrandMentions account:

  • Use a unique password that you do not use on other sites.

  • Create a password with at least 12 characters.

  • Avoid using personal details such as your name, birthday, or simple patterns.

  • Consider using a password manager to generate and store complex passwords safely.

Following these steps and using strong, unique passwords helps keep your BrandMentions account safe and fully up to date.
