How Can I View My Account Activity and History Logs?

You can see a complete history of what happened in your BrandMentions account using the Activity Log.

The Activity Log shows a timeline of project related actions, such as when a project was created, completed, or deleted. This is useful for tracking changes over time and for keeping your team aligned on what happened and when.

How to access your Activity Log

To view your account activity in BrandMentions:

  1. Log in to your BrandMentions account.

  2. Go to Account Settings from your profile menu.

  3. Open the Activity Log section.

You will see a table similar to the one in the screenshot, with a scroll bar so you can review older entries.

What information appears in the Activity Log?

The Activity Log focuses on project related activity.
Typical entries include:

  • Date
    Shows the exact date and time when the action took place.

  • Project name
    Displays the name of the project affected by the action.

  • Action
    Describes what happened to the project, for example:

    • Project Created

    • Project Completed

    • Project Deleted
      ​

  • Detail
    Provides extra information about the action, such as:

    • “Project was successfully created”

    • “Project was successfully deleted”

    • “Project has 190 mentions”

    • “Project has 471 mentions”

These details help you understand not only what changed, but also some context about the project at that moment.

Improve team visibility

If multiple people work in the same BrandMentions account, the Activity Log shows:

  • Which projects were created or completed recently

  • When projects were removed

This gives your team a shared source of truth for what has happened in the account.

Troubleshoot issues

If something in your projects looks unexpected, you can:

  • Check the Activity Log to see when the last changes were made

  • Review completed or deleted projects and their mention counts at completion

This can help you better understand how your account reached its current state.

By checking this log regularly, you can better understand how projects are created, completed, and deleted across your BrandMentions account and keep your team aligned on all important changes.
