How to customize a report?

BrandMentions allows you to completely customize your report's appearance and data content.

To do so, go to the Reports section first and create a new report or edit an existing one.

Within this section, you have the possibility to personalize the following items:

  1. Select Report Parameters:

    • Project: Choose the project for which you want to generate the report.

    • Report Name: Enter a name for your report to identify it easily.

    • Data: Select the type of data to include, such as "All Mentions." or only a specific segment of your mentions.

    • Date Range: Choose a specific time period (e.g., Last 30 Days) for the data to be included.

    • Show Data By: Define how the data is displayed (e.g., by Week or Day).

    • Compare To: Optionally, choose a comparison period for benchmarking.

  2. Customize Colors:

    • Report Color: Select a primary color for the report theme from the available color options.

    • Header Text Color: Choose a color for the header text to match your brand style.

  3. Enable Page Summary (Optional): Toggle the Page Summary switch to add a summary section to each page if desired.

  4. Include or Exclude Sections:

    • Use the toggles next to each report section to include or exclude specific content.

    • This allows you to control the depth and focus of the report content.

  5. Preview and Save:

    • Preview: Click the Preview button to review the report layout and content before finalizing.

    • Save & Download Report: Once satisfied with your customizations, click Save & Download Report to generate and download the PDF.

This customization feature provides flexibility in creating tailored reports that highlight the metrics and insights most relevant to your needs.
