How to exclude specific social accounts or sites?

Updated over 11 months ago

In the Project Settings under the Sources tab, you can manage specific exclusions to refine the mentions and data captured for your project.

The Exclusions section allows you to exclude mentions from specific domains, URLs, or social media accounts, helping you to eliminate unwanted sources and maintain a more relevant dataset.

Exclude Mentions from Specific Domains or URLs

  • This setting allows you to exclude mentions from particular domains or specific URLs that may not be relevant to your analysis.

  • You can add a domain or URL by specifying the exact text match. For example:

    • Domain is seo.com – This will exclude any mentions originating from the domain seo.com.

  • To add more exclusions, click the + button and specify additional domains or URLs as needed.

Exclude Mentions from Specific Social Accounts

  • This option enables you to exclude mentions from specific social media accounts across platforms like X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.

  • For each platform, you can specify the account name or keywords in account names to exclude
