What Are the Project Limits and How Often Is Data Updated?

Updated this week

Each BrandMentions subscription plan has specific limits and data refresh frequencies. Understanding these limits helps you manage your projects effectively and make sure you’re getting the most accurate, up-to-date results.

Project Limits

The number of projects you can create depends on your current plan:

Plan

Number of Projects Allowed

Notes

Starter Plan

Up to 3 projects

Ideal for tracking your own brand and a few competitors.

Pro Plan

Up to 10 projects

Designed for agencies or teams monitoring multiple brands.

Expert Plan

Unlimited projects

Best for enterprise-level monitoring and global coverage.

To check how many projects you’ve created and how many are available:

  1. Go to your Account Settings.

  2. Review the list of existing projects.

  3. Visit Billing → Subscription Details to confirm your plan type and limits.

If you’ve reached your project limit, you can delete an unused project or upgrade your plan to add more.

Data Update Frequency

BrandMentions continuously collects mentions from across the web, but how often your data updates depends on your settings and plan.

Default Updates

  • Projects refresh once per day by default.

  • New mentions appear in your dashboard automatically after each update cycle.

Real-Time Monitoring

If you enable Real-Time Monitoring, BrandMentions will collect new mentions as soon as they appear online.
This feature is available on higher-tier plans and is recommended for:

  • Crisis management

  • Product launches

  • Ongoing PR campaigns

  • High-traffic brands

You can activate it by going to Project Settings → Real-Time Monitoring and toggling it on.
