The Interactions Filter allows you to sort and view mentions based on the level of engagement they have received. Interactions typically include actions such as likes, shares, comments, or retweets.
This filter is essential for identifying content that resonates with your audience and for prioritizing mentions that spark active discussions. By focusing on engagement metrics, you can better understand what drives attention, conversation, and advocacy for your brand.
How to Use the Interactions Filter
The Interactions Filter is available in the advanced filtering options of your Mentions Dashboard. It allows you to define thresholds for engagement metrics and focus only on mentions that meet or exceed your set criteria.
- Open Advanced Filters
In the right side of your Dashboard, open the Advanced Filters panel.

- Find the Interactions Filter
Locate the “Interactions” filter option. In some cases, you may also see specific engagement metrics, such as Likes, Shares, or Comments, that can be filtered individually.

- Set Your Criteria
Define the minimum number of interactions a mention must have to appear in your feed.

For example, you can choose to display only mentions with more than 10 interactions. Once applied, the feed automatically updates to show only the mentions that meet your specified engagement threshold.
Tips and Best Practices
- Identify Engaging Content
Use the Interactions Filter to find the mentions and topics that are generating the most conversation. This helps you understand which content formats, themes, or messages resonate most with your audience.

- Prioritize for Engagement
Focus your engagement efforts on mentions with high interaction counts. Responding to or amplifying these discussions can boost brand visibility and demonstrate that you are actively engaging with your community.

- Find Highly Engaging Influencers
Filter for mentions with high interactions to identify influencers or creators with strong audience engagement, not just large followings. These are often the most valuable collaboration partners for sustained impact.

- Combine with Other Filters
For deeper insights, combine the Interactions Filter with others such as Sentiment or Source.
For instance:- Use high interactions + positive sentiment to uncover brand advocates and successful user-generated content.
- Use high interactions + negative sentiment to detect issues gaining traction and manage them before they escalate.

Conclusion: Focus on Conversations That Matter
The Interactions Filter helps you pinpoint the mentions that drive the most engagement, allowing you to measure audience response, prioritize high-impact content, and strengthen community connections.
By combining this filter with others like Reach or Sentiment, you gain a richer understanding of how your audience reacts to your brand, helping you make informed decisions that enhance your engagement strategy and online reputation.
