Reviews Filter - Display Mentions from Review Sites

Updated this week

The Reviews Filter allows you to isolate mentions from review platforms such as Yelp, G2, Trustpilot, or Google Reviews. This filter is essential for businesses that rely on customer feedback and online reputation management. By focusing exclusively on reviews, you can systematically analyze sentiment, identify recurring issues or praise, and engage directly with customers who share their experiences online.

Monitoring reviews separately helps you understand how your products or services are perceived in comparison to competitors and ensures that no valuable customer feedback goes unnoticed.

How to Use the Reviews Filter

The Reviews Filter functions as a specialized source filter that targets only review platforms. It allows you to easily display, analyze, and respond to mentions originating from customer review sites.

  1. Locate the Reviews Filter
In the right side of the Dashboard, find the main Advanced filters. Within this section, you should see a “Reviews” category with a list of specific review platforms that you've previously added within your project.

  2. Select the Review Sources
Choose whether to view all review mentions or limit your feed to one or more specific review sites. Your mentions feed will update automatically to show only content from the selected sources.

Tips and Best Practices

  • Systematic reputation management
Use the Reviews Filter to create a dedicated feed for customer reviews. This enables your team to track, analyze, and respond to feedback in a structured, timely manner strengthening your brand’s credibility and responsiveness.

  • Gather product feedback
Reviews often contain detailed insights about customer experiences, product features, and areas for improvement. Regularly analyze review content to identify recurring patterns, pain points, and enhancement opportunities.

  • Identify promoters and detractors
Combine the Reviews Filter with the Review Stars Filter to pinpoint your most satisfied customers (promoters) and least satisfied ones (detractors). This allows you to engage proactively with both groups celebrating positive feedback and addressing concerns quickly.

  • Showcase positive reviews
Filter for positive reviews to identify strong testimonials or standout quotes that could be used in marketing materials, case studies, or social media content. Always ensure you obtain permission before using customer feedback publicly.

Conclusion: Centralize and Elevate Your Reputation Monitoring

The Reviews Filter provides a focused way to monitor and manage your brand’s reputation across review platforms. By isolating mentions from trusted review sources, you can efficiently track customer satisfaction, analyze sentiment trends, and strengthen relationships with your audience.

When combined with sentiment and rating filters, this feature becomes a powerful tool for comprehensive reputation management helping you transform raw customer feedback into actionable business insights and lasting brand trust.
